Let’s promote our local businesses by supporting “Shop Small Saturday” : a national event that encourages shopping local to build local economies. On Small Business Saturday in 2016, 112 million shoppers showed their love for their favorite spots, and spent $15 billion at small businesses like yours. The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Alpine Chamber of Commerce are preparing to have a booth at the corner of 5th and Holland on Saturday 11/25/17 starting at 10 AM to raise awareness for SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY. The SBDC andChamber will be handing out 100 SHOP SMALL goodie bags to motorists who conveniently stop at the 3-way. The point is to fill the bags with items to encourage folks to shop small at our local businesses. We are interested in items to stuff in the bags from participating business. Items could include: Business Cards, Business Brochures, Menus, Post Cards, Coupons, Entry into a Drawing, Give-Away at Your Store/Business, Swag of Your Choosing (Pens, Pencils, Bookmarks, Notepads, Candy), or you may have a better idea; we would love that too!! We will pick-up items to include in the bags. Deadline for items to be included is 11/20/17. For more information, or to schedule pick-up, contact:
